![]() Eneida Roldan, CEO of the FIU HealthCare Network and the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) associate dean who serves as clinical director for the testing site FIU operates in collaboration with Miami-Dade County at the Fairgrounds and the new testing station. “FIU has been a leader on the frontlines since this pandemic has hit the U.S. “In Curative we have found an ideal partner to offer our students, faculty and staff additional easy access to COVID-19 testing,” said Dr. Increased testing is available just in time for members of the campus community to get tested before spending time with family during Thanksgiving and other holidays. To make an appointment at the Curative station, please visit. Please note this testing station is a walk-up only there is no designated parking in the vicinity. The testing station is located in front of the Student Health Center at MMC. Starting today, COVID-19 tests are administered at the new station at no cost to those being tested and results will be sent to patients via private portal within 24-48 hours. The only good thing are a few great people I had the pleasure of working with.FIU is partnering with Curative to expand COVID-19 testing by opening an on-campus walk-up testing station for students, faculty and staff. Very toxic company the worst company I ever worked for. In fact that is the only time upper management visits a site. Policies change daily so people are constantly getting written up which seems to be their favorite thing to do. There are different policies depending on who you talk to. Upper Management does not seem to know what the other is doing. They did a massive lay off which left every site under staffed so even unpaid time off was no longer allowed. My team lead was literally pointed at by “upper management” on our first day and asked if they wanted a promotion because the team lead originally hired didn’t show. The “team leads” are glorified gofers that like to flex their muscles when you dare question them. ![]() Pay was good, but hours are consistently taken away. Then they passed all the testing site specialists (TSS) off to a staffing company who “contracted” us out which took away our PTO, holiday pay, sick leave and affordable benefits. And now that the company has new sites they’d rather hire people with no experience and NOT EVEN CERTIFIED in the filed simply because they’re vaccinated and previous dedicated employees aren’t. Not enforcing 6 foot within the patients. Numerous people a day were falling out in line from heat exhaustion or COVID oxygen problems. Management was not alert for patients in line who were actively sick. Took it anyways and had no job to go back to. I was let go after working 7 days a week NINE HOURS A DAY because a family member died and they refused to give me the day off for the memorial. They belittle the cnas as people in a career. Cnas are running nurses in the management positions. Management has little to no medicine back ground. The pod employees run the site and keep it going while management hides from patients and doesn’t even come out till the last five minutes of the day. They’re all hooking up so there’s no knew to run to when something is wrong.
